My experience, my passion
As a child, I was told that Psychologists help people be happy, so that’s what I decided to become. I followed the guidance of my counselors, and pursued the prescribed formula for success: I got my Ph.D. in Psychology, I got married, started my career, had two children, worked hard and expected the happy ever after part. Through a delightful twist of fate, I had tremendous opportunities in my career that allowed me to live, teach and do high level management and organizational consulting in Caracas, Venezuela, Boston, and Michigan.
This exciting career was greatly rewarding, yet something inside me kept asking for even greater self expression. In the ensuing process of self-exploration, I was led to create my own business, and “The Healing Space” was born in 1988. Here, my private practice captured the call for the integration of my “being” aspect of heart/passion/love with the “doing” and competency-based aspect of my professional pursuits.
Today, I passionately integrate my experience in career and business development, training, and organizational design with my counseling and coaching expertise to support you in becoming all that you can be.
